Bakers Shaft & Macquarie Woods

Bakers Shaft was next for a quick trip with our neighbours and their to boys Harry & Max. Parents Emma and Chris came next and we had a great couple of days out in the bush checking out all the stuff we would need to have on board for our future longer trips into the outback and around Oz. Naturally ‘the boys’ wanted to go exploring, encouraged by Chris and I on the side. Twas not to be as Emma & Fiona insisted on accompanying us on our little adventure trek. We spent a couple of hours checkign the place out and then back to camp. Harry and Max were soon pretty bored after lunch so a quick flick pass was made and Miss Emma came to the rescue with later afternoon entertainment for the boys and thank heaven for that move, well done Emma! Chris & Co won the hill climb on the way back to camp and we came second. Getting ready for our big trip to Uluru was next on the calendar and we got into it. ....
